Hello,
If you say you are on a good diet, then, I should think about the
liver. Maybe due to a liver problem, production of stored energy is less and that is why you are not gaining weight.
Anyway, I should request you to have some tests and then I can decide what to do next:
1. Liver Function Test
2. USG Abdomen
3. Complete Blood Count
I would like to ask you
1. Do you get
fatigue often or easily?
2. How is your stool and urine (frequency, color, consistency of stool, etc).
3. Is there any pain in abdomen?
4. Is there any itching of skin or drying of skin?
Some foods I am suggesting to you for eating
1. rice
2. nuts
3. protein rich food like egg (1 egg per day), white meat (no red meat)
4. potatoes
5. fruits
6. dark chocolate ( not many per day)
7. Soy milk
Do not consume:
1. Alcohol
2. fast food
3. soft drinks
4. high sodium foods
5. too much salt
6. smoke
With all the answers and test results, please post another question here and I will follow you up.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
