My last period was on the 29of June,I have an unprotected sex on the 30 July and after 10 mins I took I-pill emergency pill and yesterday I went to see a doctor ,I done a pregnancy test it was negative and was prescribed provenelle 1500g I took it at 11.50 in the morning and am very upset as I want to have my period and don t want to be pregnant, please help me and if there is a tablet that can help me to have my period before I became...
I don't think you may be pregnant because you had intercourse, not in the most fertile days and you also used I pill which is highly effective. You may be having irregular cycles because of taking I pill. You may use progesterone-like hormones for 7 days to help you have the cycle. The period may start within 7 days of stopping it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
