Hi Ksbug, Thanks for writing your query. After reading your post, it seems that your husband is suffering from acute gastroenteritis and needs medical attention. You should get him examined clinically. You can give him antacid like Omeprazole 20 mg once a day along with Domperidone 10 mg. Antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day along with Metronidiazole 400 mg thrice a day will be helpful in controlling the infection. Also give him a probiotic preparation alongwith the above mentioned medicines. His diet should be light and with less spice and oil. He should be given for eating after about 30-45 minutes of giving Domperidone. This will help in preventing vomitting after eating. You can give him Oral Rehydration Fluids to prevent dehydration.
