Hi Doctor Meyer, I wear gas perm contact lenses, and scratched my cornea it began to heal and then I developed another corneal abraision on top of it about a year ago. My opthamologist had me leave my lenses out for two months, antibiotic drops, and ointment at night. I also needed to take prednisone for my asthma for two months. He said the scar tissue is there an will never go away. I still continue to have the bump on my cornea and it is bothering me. What should I do about it any suggestions. Still kinda feels like it did before sensitive to light and feels like a hair in my eye, irritated. Thank you!
i think these are contact lens related dry eye syndrome. must be removed at bed time. apply artificial tear eye drop before and after removal of lens. during removal of contact lens period muse specs and apply artificial tear drop.
