General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Short answer: It seems to be a boil, better to consult a doctor

Detailed answer:
Thank you for asking.
Based on description it is suggestive that you may be having an inflammatory swelling which is usually painful. It may be due to an infection. If there is any pus collection it needs to be drained. You also need to take some antibiotics to control the infection. I suggest you to consult a general surgeon who can examine and suggest further treatment.

If you have any other queries I'll be happy to help.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
