HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, acne is age related disease and this is mainly happens due to hormone disturbances (Not always ) but likely associated with infection and this demands long term treatment because treatment regime goes on changing from time to time and one has to be in follow up regularly, if she follows the instruction given by dermatologist then she would get very good result, hope this information helps, take care. ( Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day and Clindamycin local application can be tried initially )
I find this answer helpful
