How To Get Rid Of Acne Scars On Face?

Hello Doctor. Iam 20 years old.I ve been suffering from acne problem for more than 2 months because of hot waxing my face.I never had pimples before.Doctor suggested me a nadibact gel and clobetasone cream to be applied twice a day.Pimples got reduced but i scrubbed my face with apricot scrub and again my face started breaking out.Now i stopped doing anything to my face. Pimples has reduced but little breakouts are left and getting developed daily leaving behind with black marks .Can you suggest me a cream/gel to totally get rid of the breakouts?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query acne occur on your face after doing hot waxing is because of increased sensitivity of your skin. First of all wash your face with mild soap and cold water twice a day , exfoliate your face once a week. you should apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream twice a day. You should apply ice cube to face 2-3 times a day and avoid cosmetic products having acidic PH. Also drink 5-6 glasses of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. You should avoid using hot wax on face directly in future. Apply Clindamycin gel and Benzoyl peroxide containing gel over the acne. Avoid any steroid based cream and apply kojic acid containing cream over face twice. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once and get it examined and go for micro-abrasion and chemical peeling.
