Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
First let me start by saying this. My sister has black heads on her eyelids and the arch. She has tried to squeeze them but they won t come out they just hurt. She s tried peroxide and alcohol but nothing seems to work. Is there anything that I can tell era to do to help her get rid of them because there is a lot and it makes her self conscious. Thank you, Paulean kidd
* As per my clinical experience, the black heads on eyelids, not responding to peroxide and squeezing may be in concern with deeper tissue involvement as dermis layers.
* In my clinic, I do recommend certain options for this condition as
- imunotherapy with Imiquimod
- local application of trichloroacetic acid
- nitrogen gas freezing
- laser therapy as last resort
However, if a photo picture of the eyelid with the lesion is provided, I can guide further precisely in this matter.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
