How To Get Rid Of Bump Filled With Pus On Chin?

Hi I have had jaw surgery like 5 months ago and recently I had what I thought to be a zit grow on my chin. It hasn't healed and has been there for a month, now it pops and puss comes out and also the is red guts looked stuff hanging out of it and Im wondering what you think it is?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain a blister over the chin that discharges pus and recurs can be due to causes like Hair follicle infection, infected sebaceous gland, ingrown hair etc..

You should start applying a combination of Triple antibiotic ointment over it along with steroid ointment..
Do cool compresses over it..
You can also take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and pain..
Avoid touching it again and again to prevent infection.

In case if it still does not resolve consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
