How To Get Rid Of Bump On The Upper Lip?

Hello, I have a bump on my upper lip on the side. I want to know reasons why you get them and prevention for them not to come back. It s not herpes, I popped it before and nothing happened meaning it didn t become worse or anything, it was just a regular pimple. At times I do eat things unhealthy and I get bumps if I cheat on my diet, also I feel like when I kiss my boyfriend I get a pimple but once I take a break from kissing it s gone. Why is that? Hope you can answer my question and hear from you soon.
