Hello,My question is regarding a bump that is on my inner thigh. My thighs rub together when I walk and sometimes if my pants irritate it, I get a bump. This hasn t hurt me until I noticed it a few days ago when I noticed it was bigger. It is about the size of a dime and kind of purple like a blood blister. Should I try squeezing or popping it ?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of bumps on the inner thigh which could be due to clogging of sebaceous glands with dead bacteria and sebum as excessive glands are there. It is due to bacterial infection of thigh area which is leading to folliculitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep the area clean and maintain proper hygiene and dryness. You should wear loose clothes. Avoid touching or pricking it with sharp objects. Wash properly with cold water and apply topical antibacterial cream bacitracin. Take oral antibiotics as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You can go for peeling as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
