How To Get Rid Of Burning Pain In My Knee After Falling?

Hi i had arthoscopic surgery two years ago. I was walking at wrk ad my heel got caught in a little pothole type thing and i almost fell but caught myself. Now my knee hurts and has a burning pain. Do you think i did further damaage? Im scared to go see my surgeon cause im scared he may tell me i need another surgery.
