How To Get Rid Of Constipation ?

Hi my 4 year old daughter is suffering from constipation from past 3 weeks her school teachers also complaint that she keeps scratching and covering her area body part in and around her private parts in school and she looks uncomfortable also are these 2 things related pls explain as I am worried.....

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, i would like to advise that you should get her examined by her paediatrician.

She might be suffering from worm infestation and may need deworming.

She can be given Albendazole 200 mg at bedtime.
This has to be repeated after 15 days.
But I would advise that any medicine to be given only under medical supervision after a full clinical examination.

A blood test for eosinophil count may be helpful.

Also take care of her personal hygiene. She should wash her hands before eating. She should be given food prepared under hygienic conditions.
