I recently got kicked in the face by a horse and had a laceration to my cheek.I had to get 5 dissolvable stitches on the inside and 5 normal ones on the outside. Its been 4 weeks now and its healing well except I have a dent in my face when I smile and its really tight. Will this get better?

Hi

You had a trauma to the face about four weeks back.
I would like to tell you that four weeks is a very short time . Complete healing of the facial scar will take a longer time. You can not predict the final type of scar that will develop in your case so soon.
All you need to do is to take oral vitamin c supplements so as to speed up the process of skin healing.
Later on, once the healing process is over , you can then be treated according to the type of scar.

Hope it helps
