How To Get Rid Of Dryness Near Elbows?

My baby 7 weeks and has a dryness near his eyebrows. Last time when i consulted the doc, he said it was a fungal infection and suggested wiping off the fungus gently with damp cloth He didnt suggest any ointment. I doubt if it is due to the hot air blower being used in the baby s room dehydrating his gentle skin.please suggest.
