Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have fluid in my inner ear, went to a ENT and since he couldn t see it said there was nothing he could do. I just want to know if there is any way to get rid of it. I especially have it in the morning right after I get up and I do sleep on the ear that is bothering me.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have probably fungal infection in your ear with super added bacterial infection. Need not to panic about it. You should clean the ear with q-tip gently and put antibiotic ear drops. you should go for combination of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days. Avoid going water into ears while taking shower. You should maintain cleanliness in that area. You should take antibiotic Azithromycin for 5- 7 days along with anti-inflammatory drugs. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper examination and go for lab tests such as CT scan done. You can go for otoscopy as well and get drainage of fluids done. Avoid pricking it with any sharp object.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
