How To Get Rid Of Itchy Red Swollen Rashes On The Face? Also What To Do For E Pus Cells Found In Swap Test(STD) And Pap Smear Test For Abnormal Cells?

Hi,i am very stressed and confused about my body. I am 29yrs old female. i was diagnosed BV and some other illness back when im 21yrs when i did a checkup at a STD clinic. i had medications, but i cant remember if i did recover myself. I tot im healthy all this many years. I did a pelvic scan on 2010,doc suspect i have PCOS as there r many small bubbles on my ovaries with multiple overian cyst. Again,i tot im healthy n i ignored it. Only recently,i experience so much pain from my period on november 2013,sharp pain when i was passing motion & i felt so weak like never before,e pain went up to my stomach area n i had to see a doc for e 1st time, doc says its probably from e period pain i had. Everything went away after e period stop. I went to book an appointment for Pap smear test,Pelvic scan & STD test as im worried. Pap smear test came back, and they found an abnormal cells,& i need to do a follow up in 6months time. STD came back, i was diagnoised BV,positive for chlamydia & they found pus cells as well.. Im on a week of antibiotic & Doxycycline. After finishing e 7days course, i stop having foul smelling on my vaginal & i noticed urine was clear throughout as i had unusual cloudy thingy when urinating before medication. Nothing unusual for a week. Everything seems clean for a week, foul smell didnt came bk,im happy, but until i noticed this sticky paste discharge sometimes milky in colour sometimes really pale green showed on my (white colour) panty liners, i swap on my finger, its white tho, im confused, but im not worry about all this as im due to do a follow up in a months time with STD clinic. What im worry about is e pus cells found in my swap test(STD) and Pap smear test for abnormal cells. Im so depressed. i have no knowledge ..im worried about e cells thingy. One night i tot i have ovarian cancer and i rushed myself to ER..but doc told me not to worry.. as cyst mostly r benign. After all those..another problem came.. my back started to have this itchy rash so i went to e doc..it recovered after 2 weeks on acne lotion doc gave, n now..it went up to my face..itchy red swollen rash all over n i nvr had this in my life..n i went to doc again..doc told me it acne..n i was on acne lotion again..i have 2 bottles now..but it doesnt seem to help..it only gets worst ..doc did a referral to e skin centre if im not heal. do u have any advice on any drugstore product i can use for my face? Doctor pls do ans my qns on e other problems i had.. im so confused about my life now..

Hello,
Welcome to health care magic.
Firstly, regarding the pus cells in your swab test- any infection in your vagina or carvix will result in pus cells being seen in the swab test. Since you have mentioned that you had BV and were positive for chlamydia, it is expected to see pus cells in your swab. So do not worry. But bacterial vaginosis can be a recurrent infection. Hence you may be noticing greenish discharge again. You could try lactic acid containing vaginal washes available over the counter. Do not douche your vaginal area as it can alter the normal acidic pH and cause BV.
Secondly, regarding the abnormal cells in your Pap smear - you have not mentioned if they are inflammatory cells or atypical cells. Inflammatory cells are expected in your pap smear as you had a co existing infection. If you have seen atypical cells, as your doctor has advised, you have to repeat the smear after 6 months, preferably when you have no concurrent infection.
Thirdly, regarding your itchy rash- from your description it could be an acneiform eruption. You can try calamine lotion and antihistamines. If no response, please consult a dermatologist.
Hope this puts your mind at ease.
Take care.

Hi. Don't get so tensed up.First about abnormal pap smear. If any doubt it is better to get another test, which is a better form of this (LBC + HPV-DNA test). You have already been advised to repeat the test in 6 months. If still abnormal then we go in for Colposcopy, which is microscopic ex. of cervix directly and we see what abnormalities.
For BV, take Tab. XXXX1 bd for 7 days.Take care of your hygeine and you can also use vaginal wash to keep vaginal pH within normal.
For PCOS
For rash I cannot tell you without seeing it and it is better to take the help of a skin specialist onnly.
Thanks.
