How To Get Rid Of Lump Under Jaw?

Hello:) I got my tongue pierced 2 days ago an I noticed yesterday evening that I have a hard lump under my jaw/chin close to my neck. It hurts a little but mostly just when I touch it. Is there anything I can do to make the lump go away? Thank you for your time.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain it seems that hard swollen lump under the jaw/chin near the neck seems to be either submental or submandibular lymph node enlargement or lymphadenopathy depending upon the exact location of the lump...

I would suggest you to consult an Oral surgeon or an ENT expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x-ray, MRI Scan, biopsy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case of infection a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers along with cool compresses can help..

Hope this helps..

Thanks and regards.
