I am a male,35 years old, and I have been a diabetic for ten years. Prior to three years ago I have had my blood sugar under control and exercised regularly. I am addicted to injecting meth and started right around three years ago. I am wondeering how much damage I have done to myself, and is there any new medications that help with addiction and coming off of meth.
Hello Mr.folmar;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
If you had been diabetic for 10 yrs then you need to keep a watch on your sugar and should have been under treatment or supervision of doctor and you should have avoided all drugs.It is 3 yrs but never too late to quit addiction.The basic thing required for quitting any form of addiction is your own will.If you decide nothing can stop you.So first of all decide firmly that you need to quit addiction of meth and then consult a rehabilitation center where you will get help for de addiction.Please consult your doctor and find out the status of your diabetes and he will guide you for rehabilitation.
