How To Get Rid Of Popping Sound In Ear With No Blockage?

I am 43 and became totally deaf in one ear as a result of nerve damage noticed immediately after the MMR jab when I was 3. I have had tinnitus since I was 16. I suffer from depression which I have come to realise is probably a result of lack of knowledge and understanding by myself, my family and my friends, of Singe Sided Deafness For 6 months now I have been experiencing a popping noise in my 'good' ear which is triggered by specific sound frequencies. An MRI scan shows no abnormalities. The ear canal is not blocked. I have no sinus pain. I do not have blocked nasal passages. Has anyone any suggestions how to get rid of this aggravating popping sound. Please can anybody help?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Dear, the popping sound is some time is due to patulous or open Eustachian tube when every time you swallow it opens and causes air movement in the middle ear which is causing popping sound or the tube is partially block and and the air in the middle ear is partially absorbed creating a negative pressure, and when tube opens while swallowing or by any other activity, it rushes air into the middle ear producing popping sound
