General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Complete bugs and pest control should be done in your entire room. Clean and disinfect all your clothes and bed sheets. Any history of fever or other symptoms should be ruled out. Plain moisturiser or cocoa butter may not be sufficient to reduce itching. Antihistamines or mild steroids should be taken. Insect repellent creams can be applied throughout the body.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
