How To Get Rid Of Red Splotches, Bumps Under Skin On Thighs?

I have red splotches with small hard bumps under the skin in a 3 inch circle on my outer thighs. If I lay on my sides for an extended length of time, they start to hurt. It s 20 degrees here, I dress warm when outside, but my thighs still get cold. It happened to me last winter also.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for red splotches, bumps under skin on thighs.

It might be simple periniosis or cold induced injury. In more severe cases there can be more redness and even blackening of the skin.

I suggest you to do rewarming by soaking your thighs in warm water and not in hot water. DO not put yourself in front of heaters or similar apparatus. Wear double pants one over the other. Do not expose to cold environment. Additionally can take pain killer like paracetamol two times.

Take care.
