How To Get Rid Of Saliva Dripping?

my dad is 80 years old and is genereally healthy except that i ve noticed lately that he can t control his saliva from dripping that got his shirt all soaked with it. this happens frequently especially when he s just seated doing nothing or drowsing. though this diesn t seem to happen when he s lying down asleep. is there any solution to this condition?
