How To Get Rid Of Scar On My Stomach Left Due To Stitches?

hello, when i was 8 months old i had a tumour in my stomach, i thankfully got it removed and now all is fine, except for the huge horizontal scar it left across my abs on my stomach,m im just wondering is there any way i could get rid of this, im irish and have health insurance, would this be covered by my policy, im now 20 years of age, if not how ,uch would ir cost, i got 52 stitiches across my tummy as a kid regards

hi.welcome to healthcare magic.i understand your problem.my opinion is that,you can apply mederma ointment twice daily over the scar.but it will take sometime for the scar to disappear.you can also consult your dermatologist for laser removal of scars.
