How To Get Rid Of Severe Migraine ?

Hello Doctor, I am 33, 5.8, 84 kgs. I have migraine since past 5 years. Initially I use to take disprine. After that I took combiflam. Recently, I am done with MRI , ultrasound lower abdomen and the related blood tests as well. All are absolutely fine. Even, whever there is any change in my daily routine, I got the hit. My neurologist recommended me NAXDON 250. But it works only if I take before the pain gets severe. Also, I have to take 3- atleast in a week. Please suggest how can i get rid of this. I don t want to have pain killers any more. Please suggest.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic

Firstly, you need to understand what can aggravate your migraine attacks. Avoid bright light, loud noise or music, coffee, chocolate. Get enough sleep for 6-8 hours a day. Stop smoking and drinking alcohol. Eat diet rich in fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. You should be on Prophylaxis therapy to prevent attacks as well. Naxdon is only a pain killer which may work during the attack. Discuss with your Neurologist about this.
