How To Get Rid Of Severe Shoulder And Arm Pain?

3 mos ago I had an injection in my left shoulder to relieve impingement pain .About 3 weeks ago the pain returned and now runs into my neck, under my arm and down the arm into my hand. I can put my arm behind my back but it is painful to pick up anything or just continues from shoulder to hand.

Hi,

The pain looks to be from nerve entrapment in the neck. This is common and mostly not serious until very severe.

Generally, we manage it with some painkiller, muscle relaxant but of most importance is physiotherapy and proper posturing. So discuss with your doctor and help from a physiotherapist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
