How To Get Rid Of Shrimp Shell Stuck In Throat?

I was eating some shrimp yesterday and I think there is a shell in my esophagus? I tried waiting, throwing up, eating soft n hard food, drank water,a shake, soda. I can breath but not swallow completely and I feel it more when I relax or lay down. I am not sure if I actually did get a shell or not though. Ideas for a home remedy? Will it dissolve? on its own?

Hi. With the suspicion of shell in the esophagus and history of inability to swallow, you should have reported to the ER or a Gastroenterologist for an X-ray of the chest and abdomen and an upper GI Endoscopy to confirm the FB and to remove it is present.
You have already tried so many things at home, which might cause the problem to worsen.
Endoscopy will finding the cause whether is a shell or some other problem.
There is nothing which can dissolve a shell without any complications.
So do not try any further.
