I have had a small piece of hard plastic stuck in my throat for a little over 1 year. I thought it would eventually go down, but it hasn't. No amount of food, drink, or vitamins will get it down. It became lodged when I inhaled it in through my nose accidentally. What can I do now?
I have gone through your query regarding a foreign body get struck in throat for a year and you have tried so many ways to swallow it but it is still there.
I would like to tell you that whenever any foreign body is trapped in throat, it is always better to remove it out because if it is swallowed than it may be held in other part of gut in deeper part and removal from that part will be more painful to treat.
So it is my suggestion to consult your ENT doctor he will do your endoscopy and wherever this plastic is will be removed very comfortably.
Regards.
