Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
As per your complain the symptoms are pointing towards yeast infection known as Oral Thrush in which there is formation of a cheesy white patches over the tongue which when removed leaves an inflamed raw surface below.
There can also be soreness and pain in tongue and bad breath is also due to it.
It can occur due to a number of common causes like intake of antibiotics and oral and nasal steroids, reduced body immunity like in diabetes, dry mouth,
chemotherapy and radiotherapy,HIV, wearing dentures etc.
Nothing to worry, consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he/she can advise you to take
anti-fungal medication like gargle with Nystatin mouthwash, suck
Clotrimazole lozenges, take plenty of probiotics like Yoghurt and garlic.
If it does not resolve in two weeks
oral antifungal medication like Fluconazole or
Itraconazole can be advised.
As of now you can gargle with numbing mouthwash to relieve soreness and pain.
Take painkiller like Dicolofenac potassium or Ibuprofen.
Suck ice and gargle with cold water.
Avoid spicy food.
Chew sugarfree chewing gums as it help in stimulating saliva flow..
Drink plenty of water..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
