How To Get Rid Of Sun Burn?

Hi, I had a very bad sunburn and now my skin is peeling off on my arms and chest. These new spots are lighter than the rest of my skin, which is now pretty tan because the burn went away. How can I get rid of these large blotches of light skin? Should I just go outside and sit in the sun?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of post inflammatory hypopigmentation, as a result of peeling away of dead sun burnt skin, thus exposing new lighter skin

Rather than sitting out in the sun and exposing one to the risk of sun burn, I would rather suggest that you use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate cream, twice daily over the hypopigmented patches.

That would help in regaining the lost color and blend with the surrounding skin.

Regards
