How To Get Rid Of Swelling And Pain In Legs?

I have had swelling, bruising, and pain in my foot for about two weeks now. The athletic trainer and podiatrist think it is a Lisfranc injury. I got an MRI today but the podiatrist also said it could just be from blood vessels bursting. I have know knowledge of a previous injury either.
