How To Get Rid Of Swollen And Painful Spot On Head?

I had a normal spot in the centre of my head which I squeezed and puss came out but it then became very painful and caused headaches. I squeezed it more despite the pain and nothing happened. I left it for day to go down and see if it would resolve the problem. I also put tea tree oil on it to dry it out. This morning I noticed it was still swollen and painful, you can actually see that my head is swollen from it and it is still causing me headaches. What is it? And how do I get rid of it? Or even just minimise the swelling to make it less noticeable. Thank you.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
You might have developed Folliculitis.
Folliculitis is a bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis.
Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given.
Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
