How To Get Rid Of The Bump Grown In Tragus Piercing?
I am 26 years old and I got my tragus pierced about 4 months ago but I have developed a small bump right beside the piercing. I believe it is a granuloma and I was wondering what I can do to get rid of it. Will the sea salt soaks be enough to get rid of the bump?
You seem right. You developed foreign body granuloma due to pierced ear pin. The metal of pin might be responsible for the granuloma. First of all is to remove the pin. Take a short course of antibiotic. When the lesion become totally dry, intralesional steroid may be taken from expert doctor. This might reduce the size of granuloma. Still, if you feel embarrasing, you consult surgeon for excision of grsnuloma. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
