How To Get Rid Of The Discolored Patches On Both Sides Of The Inner Thigh?
My groin area developed a discoloration on both sides of my inner thigh. The two patches don t stretch out very far and the discoloration is a tan color. However, I m an athlete and when I sweat, the discoloration turns red and burns, making it painful to walk. Gold Bond powder takes the pain away but after the redness leaves, the dis colored patches remain. I know the patches aren t normal, and I d like to know how to get rid of them. Thank you

Thank you for query.It may be due to fungal infection.Please take following precautions.Use loose cotton clothes.Keep area dry.Apply antifungals like terbinafine which is fungicidal.Once subsides use regularly antifungal dusting powders like candid or absorb powder to prevent recurrence.consult doctor if does not subside.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist and Venereologist
