How To Get Rid Of The Hard Pimple On My Chin?

ok well ;on my chin i thought was a pimple and last night i felt it and it was like the size on a pin ball and hard as a rock and i woke up today and it is still hard as can be and it hurts real bad on the out side of it and like in the center of it is kreal ;numb and feels kinda lfunnny well i cant feel much in the center of it cuz there is no feeling

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

I would like to keep possibilities of either an Inflammatory acne nodule OR a bacterial infection(folliculitis/furuncle), given that it is painful and hard due to edema.

I would normally ask my patients with such a problem to take an oral antibiotic like Azithromycin once daily for 5 days.

A topical antibacterial Gel/cream like Nadifloxacin would serve as a valuable adjunct to oral treatment.

An OTC painkiller like ibuprofen once or twice daily will help you with the pain part.
