How To Get Rid Of The Pimple Infection That Causes Swelling Of Nose While I'm Pregnant ?

good morning doctor.i am a 27weeks of pregnant and i have this pimple infection that even cause the area of my left part of my nose swollen i am worried with my baby inside me thus thus situation will affect my baby?and what should i do to get rid of this infection?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pimple infection that causes swelling of nose when you are pregnant because you had pimple infection and it became an inflamed and further infected ulcer and inflammation and infection is a cause for tenderness, swelling and pain. As you are pregnant you should take painkiller and antibiotics only after prescription. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper clinical; examination and start treatment after proper prescription. You can take antibiotics like Amoxicillin and painkillers like Acetaminophen. You should clean nose area with antiseptic solution and applying antibiotic ointment can help in faster healing. Do cool compresses to reduce inflammation.
