How To Get Rid Of The Scab That Has Gotten Larger Since Six Months And Still Persists?

Hi, I scraped my hand against a wall and I had a small scab. I found it really itchy so I kept on itching it of whenever it healed. After I while I stopped but it healed as a shiny wrinkly lump on my hand. I kept scratching and it has gradually gotten larger and six months on it is still there. Please can you help me with how to remove it. Thanks

This is a scar. Apply a topical steroid like clobetasol propionate twice daily mixed with topical hirudoid cream. You can show to your dermatologist for intralesional steroid injection.
