How To Get Rid Of Warts On Penis?

I am 31yr old Hispanic male. I have these warts increasing on my penis,I have read that this is normal for being Hispanic. I ve had them for a few years but they are increasing in quantity. My wife doesn t find them a problem but they embarrass me. Why do I have them and how do I get rid of them. They do not hurt or itch.

The warts are due to HPV (human papilloma virus) infection. They are not normally associated with any discomfort.

Treatment is available that may help. Eg are podofilox,imiquimod which can be applied by a patient. These would require a prescription.
There are also treatments that can be applied by a doctor.
