How To Heal Chemotherapy Mediated Side Effect?

Just had my 5th round of chemo - first with the drug Taxol - and I have a very strange symptom that I was wondering is normal and what in the world I can do to make it stop. My private area feels as if its throbbing, from the inside and out. It's awful. Goes from feeling like sharp pains to just feeling like it's being kicked from the inside out. Is this normal? HELP!!!
