How To Heal From Sprained Knee?

Morning doctors. Not sure my first post was posted but where I go again. Well yesterday while walking downstairs to the gym I twisted my knee and it started to hurt. So I took a motrin and took the subway home. I walk quite a while and now I need to know if I will be able to go back to work on Friday . Thanks
