How To Heal Tonsillitis While Having No Relief With Clindamycin?
Hi, My son has a tonsillitis and he already seen a doctor warman two weeks ago. Doctor prescribed the antibiotics Clindamycin to help fight infection. He finish his pills but he still feel the same. I think the Doctor suggested to have the tonsil surgery remove. Please need your opinion?

hello. if your child is having recurrent tonsillitis , then he may need surgery, otherwise there is no need for surgery in first episode. maybe the organisms that are causing the infection , are not sensitive to clindamycin and he may need some other antibiotics for it. please meet your ENT doctor for further advice. thanks
