How To Heal Wound Caused From Belly Button Piercing?

I have had my belly button pierced twice total. This second time, the hole where my first piercing was had completely healed over and now it is an open sore. I have tried neosporin and bandages to try to heal the wound. I think my old scar tissue is growing out but it has been over two months and just will not heal. what do i do?

Hello,

Get ESR done, to check any active status of the infection. You can try T-Bact ointment twice daily along with Hexilak silicone gel once daily bedtime. This helps in scar healing.
