Hello and welcome to HCM,
The most common cause of amenorrhea or absence of periods is pregnancy.
However, pregnancy has to be confirmed by pregnancy tests.
The pregnancy test is done on urine and blood.
The urine pregnancy test is easy to perform and it comes positive after 10-15 days of missed periods.
The blood test also becomes positive parallel to the urine test.
The test remains positive till the 10 week after the missed period.
Additionally you can go for ultrasound at 4 weeks since the gestational sac is formed by this time.

Thanks and take care
