How To Improve FSH Level And Follicle Count?

Hello, I am 42 and trying to conceive. I do acupuncture once/twice week, have Chinese herbs, drink wheatgrass, take a prenatal vitamin as well as ubiquitol. I only have been prescribed fertility drugs from my fertility clinic. My FSHhasbeen be,ow 10 for the past 2 months however my follicle count is still quite low. (2-3). Do you have recommendations on how to increase? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

The hormone FSH or Follicle stimulating hormone is produced and released by the pituitary gland. This hormone that triggers the follicles to mature.

The lower levels of FSH cause the smaller follicles to grow slower or even stop growing, while the bigger follicle continues its steady development.

Probably in the next cycles FSH can be used if not administered before along with ovulation induction drugs like clomiphene citrate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
