My diet is controlled. KINDLY PRESCRIBE SOME MEDICINE / TREATMENT AND OBLIGE. Pranay Dholaki Ahmedabad 0000 K

Hi,

We need to find out the exact cause of low platelet count, which is just a symptom of some underlying problem. Treatment will depend on the cause. There no drugs that can increase platelets per say; instead treatment of the underlying disease will restore the count to normal. We need investigations like a peripheral smear and bone marrow study. Kindly discuss with your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
