How To Improve Sleeping Patterns?

I was just told i had insomnia and was giving ambein for it. does it take a while to work cause i only got 3 hours of sleep when i took it. Also my resting heart rate is high for me 85 and my blood pressure is high to 134/84 is this all because of lack of sleep

hiiii

u have to follow certain instruction to achieve good sleep
like

fix schedule of sleep and stick on it
no day time nap
avoid smoking
avoid alcohol
avoid tea coffee soft drink before sleep
do exercise that make u fatigue
meditation and stress free work
use bed only when u sleepy
light music while u sleep
cool and calm bed room etc

sometimes if u still not getting sleep than tab zolpidam 10 mg at bed time is useful
