How To Improve The Motor Skills Caused Due To The Left Sided Body Paralysis?

Hi, My father suffered from a paralytic attack on Aug 06. The front artery on the right hand side of the neck is completely blocked which led to this attack. Left side of his body is affected. He has some sensory left but has lost most of his motor power. We have started his physiotherapy 2 weeks back. How long will he take to recover ? Can he recover 100%? Regards,Chirag Mehta

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The degree of improvement depends on the gravity of primary loss. Still, physiotherapy under expert care, protein-rich diet, regular walking efforts & continuing recommended treatment would help a lot. Would make life bearable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
