How To Increase Baby Weight In Womb And Avoid Caesarian?

yesterday i had my 4th scan and it was observed that there is a double loop of cord around baby's neck and even the growth of baby is just 2.2 kg. my doctor advised me to have a caesarian delivery. what shud i do inorder to increase the weight of baby and avoid caesarian

weight : 55kg

Hello,
You did not mention the age of your pregnancy. If you are term, it is better to proceed with a cesarean section as suggested by your consultant since a double loop of cord around the neck is not expected to unwind or get loose as labor sets in if vaginal birth is contemplated. Instead, it acts as a noose and tightens as uterine contractions strengthen. If you are not yet term, you should be under observation for fetal well being and take a healthy diet and adequate rest preferably in left lateral position to plan further management.
