Hello Sir ! My question is related to fittnes, as my age is 22 years, height 5 3 , and weight 45 kg. Initially I was very thin, but I started consuming high calorie diet and all the stuffs that could make me bulkier. And I gained too, I was about 60 kg at that time, the in the past 2 years I realised the fact that being healthy and being bulky is different thing. I did intense workouts and I lost about 15 kg. I was able to reduce the body fat but still I wish to gain a little body muscle and some size. I am also following a balanced diet plan. So kindly suggest me how to increase some mass.
Well, to gain weight you will have to maintain proper nutritional supplementation to the body through diet and also start doing muscle or weight training to gain muscle mass.
Only eating lots of fatty foods can make you obese and it is not a healthy way and can lead to diseases. You should eat a blend of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Add whole grains, rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes, ghee [in limits] and also paneer, tofu, eggs [if not vegetarian] and nuts in the diet.
Start weight training sessions under the supervision of a trained physical trainer. Take proper sleep and drink plenty of water. You can also be advised protein supplements but take only under the supervision of a dietician and in calculated doses.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
