How To Increase Platelets?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...hello sir i am 27 year old & i m suffering from immune thrompbocytopenic-purpura from last 15years. It occures mostly in winter.(Dec-Jan) ,evenown I am suffering from it ,iwant to ask u how to increase my platelet count. What to eat ? I want to know that fruits will help me & today on left side of my stomach when paining is it harmful ?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You are suffering from immune thrombocytopenic purpura. In that there is immune mediated destruction of platelets occur. So your platelet count is decrease. You should take immunosuppressive drugs like steroids to stop that destruction. IV Ig can help you. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
